Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct backend testing, including API endpoint testing, to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Utilize Postman and other API testing tools to analyze responses and validate API data.
Write complex SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with team members to define, document, and improve QA workflows.
Track, report, and manage defects in Jira, adhering to project timelines and deliverables.
Perform regression, integration, and acceptance testing to ensure updates meet expected standards.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

Proficiency in backend testing methodologies, especially in API testing.
Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing, with an understanding of HTTP status codes, response structures, and headers.
Strong SQL writing skills for data extraction, manipulation, and validation.
Familiarity with QA best practices and tools like Jira for tracking defects and processes.
