Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Erwin Data Modeler with experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise data models. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of data modeling concepts, database design, data governance, and Erwin Data Modeler tools. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to create logical and physical data models that support business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models using Erwin Data Modeler.
• Design efficient database structures and ensure compliance with enterprise data standards.
• Perform data analysis, data mapping, and data lineage documentation.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to gather data requirements.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, metadata repositories, and naming standards.
• Support data governance initiatives and ensure consistency across enterprise data assets.
• Conduct impact analysis for data model changes and database enhancements.
• Optimize database designs for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Review and validate data models to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Work with SQL developers and ETL teams to support data integration and reporting requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Erwin Data Modeler.
• Expertise in Data Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, Physical).
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Experience in Data Warehousing, Data Governance, and Metadata Management.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and data integration.
• Understanding of Normalization, Denormalization, and Database Design Principles.
• Experience with data lineage, data quality, and data cataloging tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
