As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. This position requires continuous interaction with multiple teams to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable, supporting both current operations and future growth. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation through detailed data analysis and design activities.

Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.

Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data models meet organizational standards and requirements.

Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise and guiding best practices in data modeling.


Professional Technical Skills:


Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

Experience in designing and implementing scalable data models that support complex business processes.

Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.

Ability to analyze and optimize data structures for performance and maintainability.

Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data quality and governance.

The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
