Job Summary

Tender Manager is responsible for managing the complete tendering process, especially through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, and overseeing project execution after contract award.

Responsibilities

• Search and identify relevant tenders on GeM and other e-procurement portals.
• Prepare bid documents, technical proposals, and commercial quotations.
• Upload and submit bids on GeM within deadlines.
• Handle bid clarifications, reverse auctions, and negotiations.
• Monitor tender status and contract awards.
• Maintain tender records, compliance documents, and certifications.
• Plan and coordinate project execution after order receipt.
• Manage manpower, materials, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project timelines, quality, and budget.
• Prepare project progress reports and client updates.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate billing, invoicing, and payment follow-up.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of tendering process, documentation compliance.
• Hands-on experience with GeM, e-Procurement, IREPS and other portals.
• Knowledge of manpower costing, EPF, ESIC, minimum wages statutory components.
• Excellent analytical, communication negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PDF online tender portals.
• Cost estimation and BOQ preparation.

Experience

• Experience : 10 Year

Qualifications

• B.Tech / BE, Diploma Engineering, MBA, BBA, B.Com or equivalent.
• Certification in project management is an advantage.
• Good Communication Skills.
