Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise data solutions using Spark, Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
- Drive delivery of data pipelines and platform capabilities on AWS, ensuring reliability, performance, and cost-effective operations.
- Establish and enforce data management practices including metadata management, data cataloging, and data governance.
- Provide people leadership and team management, including coaching, performance management, and technical mentoring.
- Apply working knowledge of GenAI tools to support data/analytics use cases and modernize data workflows.
Skills Required:
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering and platform delivery; 15 - 22 years total experience.
- Spark (7+ years) and Python (7+ years) for building and optimizing data processing pipelines.
- AWS Cloud (5+ years) for designing and delivering scalable data platform components.
- SQL (5+ years) for data modeling, querying, and performance tuning across enterprise datasets.
- Snowflake (3+ years) for data warehousing, ingestion, and analytics enablement.
- Mandatory experience in people management/ Global Team Management
Good to Have:
- Agile and Scrum practices, including experience operating in iterative delivery environments.
- Team management experience and strong coaching/mentoring background.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a related technical/business area or equivalent work experience.
