Job Description
We are looking for a Software Consultant - Data Engineer to contribute to the development and delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable data engineering and software solutions for our product platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate reliable ETL/ELT pipelines in Python (Pandas) meeting SLOs for freshness, latency, and completeness.
- Develop high-performance SQL in PostgreSQL and Trino; design and maintain dimensional models and curated datasets.
- Architect and optimize AWS data solutions (S3, Glue, Athena) for scale, resiliency, performance, and cost.
- Implement IaC with Terraform and CI/CD on AWS with automated testing, security scans, and deployments.
- Embed security best practices: least-privilege IAM, secure coding, secrets management, and encryption.
- Partner with product/analytics to translate requirements into maintainable components and self-service Superset dashboards.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years building/operating production ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Strong Python with deep Pandas experience.
- Advanced SQL; PostgreSQL and Trino; dimensional modeling.
- Hands-on AWS (S3, Glue, Athena) data infrastructure.
- Terraform for IaC with version control.
- Effective Agile team delivery.
