Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in designing and building scalable data platforms, ETL pipelines, and cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and modern data engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Build and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
- Develop data solutions using Python, Spark/PySpark, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and architects to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization.
- Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Mentor junior team members and drive best engineering practices.
Requirements
Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and PySpark/Spark.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and data modeling.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, or similar data platforms.
- Strong understanding of Data Lake and Data Warehouse architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Airflow, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
- Cloud certifications are a plus.
