Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of
Databricks/Fabric-based Lakehouse architectures. The role involves end-to-end ownership of
data platforms, including ingestion, modeling, governance, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Design and own Lakehouse architecture (bronze/silver/gold) and semantic models
Implement governance using Unity Catalog, lineage, and privacy controls
Optimize pipelines through partitioning, Z-Order, and cluster tuning
Provide a SQL-centric data exploration experience on Databricks
Create, deploy, test, and upgrade complex data pipelines
Align architecture with business domains and drive long-term data strategy
Participate in planning and execution of complex cross-team projects
Job Requirements
10 15 years of overall experience with 5 6 years in architecting Databricks/Fabric
platforms
Strong experience owning end-to-end Lakehouse architecture
Ability to design data ingestion frameworks, modeling layers, and semantic models
Skills Evaluation Focus
