Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Analytics Team Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and engineering, with proficiency in cloud-based serverless architecture, particularly on Azure and GCP platforms. The candidate should possess leadership qualities to effectively lead the development of data analytics projects, support a growing team, and enhance our customer base globally.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration within the team.
  • Lead the development of data analytics projects, from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Utilize Jira to plan, track, and coordinate project activities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with client expectations.
  • Implement established processes for project coordination and execution, ensuring efficient resource allocation and risk management.
    • 3.Data Engineering and Architecture:
    • Design and implement robust data engineering pipelines on Azure and GCP platforms, ensuring efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage.
    • Lead efforts to fetch data from external sources and set up data warehouses in the cloud, optimizing for scalability and performance.
    • Collaborate with data analysts to develop star schema models based on client requirements, facilitating efficient data retrieval and analysis.
  • Lead the team to develop interactive visualizations and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy and relevance of data visualizations, providing actionable insights to clients for informed decision-making.
    • 5.Integration of Advanced Technologies:
    • Anticipate and plan for the integration of machine learning, artificial intelligence, and forecasting techniques into data analytics projects.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, exploring opportunities for innovation and improvement in data analytics solutions.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • 4+ years of professional experience in the IT Industry.
    • Proven experience (2 years) in data analytics and engineering, with a focus on cloud-based solutions and architecture.
    • Strong proficiency in Azure and GCP platforms, including services such as Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Functions, Google BigQuery, etc.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead a team and interact with clients globally.
    • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ensuring efficient project planning, tracking, and execution will be a plus.
    • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks.
    • Prior experience in leading the development of data engineering pipelines, implementing data visualization techniques, and utilizing reporting tools like Power BI.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer engagement.
    • Familiarity with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and forecasting concepts, with a keen interest in integrating these technologies into data analytics projects.
