About the Role
We re looking for an Analytics Engineer to help scale how data is modeled, documented, and used across the organization.
Our data platform is built on Snowflake, dbt, and Lightdash . Core warehouse pipelines and foundational data models are maintained by our data engineering team. These models provide a normalized, reliable representation of our operational data.
This role focuses on making that data accessible, trusted, and usable for analytics . You will help maintain the semantic layer, implement metric definitions, and build the datasets and metadata that allow analysts and business teams to confidently explore and understand data.
You ll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure that our central data models are well understood, consistently defined, and easy to use.
What You ll Do
Develop and Maintain Analytics Data Models
  • Build and maintain dbt models that support analytics and reporting
  • Create subject-area datasets that make it easier to analyze normalized warehouse data
  • Implement lightweight transformations where needed to support analytical use cases
  • Ensure datasets are intuitive and structured for exploration
Manage the Semantic Layer and Business Metrics
  • Implement and maintain metric definitions used across dashboards and reporting
  • Manage semantic metadata that defines how datasets should be used
  • Ensure consistent business logic across analytics and reporting
  • Maintain documentation and lineage for core metrics and datasets
Improve Data Trust and Usability
  • Help establish confidence in central data models through testing and validation
  • Investigate data discrepancies and support root-cause analysis
Partner with engineering to resolve upstream data issues
