Required Qualifications:

We're seeking an analytical and technically proficient Cloud Operations Data Analyst. The candidate will be responsible for processing and validating financial data related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring accurate reporting to leadership, and handling complex data management tasks. The candidate will possess strong SQL, ETL, and Azure knowledge, and have experience with Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Data Management:
• Receive and manage raw billing data from finance, generated based on Azure and Snowflake.
• Handle large source files containing detailed financial information.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data into the system.
2. Data Validation and Cross-Verification:
• Cross-validate data multiple times to ensure accuracy.
• Validate cost data using Azure Cost Management, identifying and correcting mismatched cost centers.
• Think critically before sending reports to ensure they meet expectations.
3. SQL and Data Management:
• Separate and create tables, views, and daily ad hoc queries using SQL.
• Integrate data into Tableau for visualization and reporting.
• Maintain plain Excel sheets for specific reporting purposes.
4. Technical Knowledge:
• Apply strong knowledge of Azure for cost management and validation.
• Utilize Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Understand cloud economics to break down and address cost-related issues.
