Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team and help drive data-led decision-making across the business. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in SQL and Tableau, along with hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end BI solutions.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, translating business requirements into scalable reporting solutions, and owning the BI lifecycle from query creation and dashboard design to deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective analytical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tools/Tableau dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure efficient data extraction and transformation.
Implement advanced Tableau functionalities, including:
Data blending and integration from multiple sources
Level of Detail (LOD) calculations
Row-Level Security (RLS) for secure data access
Extract filters vs. data source filters management
Conditional formatting and dynamic filtering using parameters
Ensure dashboards are scalable, high-performing, and maintainable.
Support in performance tuning of queries and Tableau workbooks.
Document processes, dashboards, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
Good to Have
Experience integrating Tableau with R/Python for advanced analytics.
Knowledge of performance monitoring and tuning in Tableau Server.
Exposure to cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
Business Problem Solving delivering a solution with end to end impact.
