Data Analyst

Role & responsibilities

Data Collection

• Collect data from databases, spreadsheets, surveys, applications, and other sources.
• Identify relevant and reliable data for analysis.
• Ensure data is complete and available for reporting.

2. Data Cleaning & Preparation

• Clean and organize raw data.
• Identify and correct errors, duplicates, missing values, and inconsistencies.
• Transform data into a suitable format for analysis.
• Maintain data quality and accuracy.

3. Data Analysis

• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies.
• Use statistical methods and analytical techniques to interpret data.
• Compare current performance with historical or expected results.
• Generate meaningful insights from large datasets.

4. Reporting & Visualization

• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports.
• Create dashboards, charts, graphs, and visualizations.
• Present complex information in a simple and understandable manner.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs).

5. Business Support

• Provide data-driven insights to management and relevant departments.
• Support decision-making through accurate analysis.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and potential risks.
• Answer business questions using available data.

6. Database & Technical Responsibilities

• Work with databases and write queries using tools such as SQL.
• Use analytical and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or Python, depending on organizational requirements.
• Maintain data documentation and reporting processes.
• Automate repetitive reports and analytical tasks where possible.

7. Data Quality & Security

• Perform regular data validation and quality checks.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data.
• Follow organizational policies regarding data privacy and security.
• Ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.

8. Collaboration

• Work with management, IT, finance, operations, clinical teams, or other departments.
• Understand stakeholder requirements and convert them into analytical reports.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical users.

9. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor KPIs and business performance.
• Identify unusual changes or trends and report them promptly.
• Improve existing dashboards, reports, and analytical processes.
• Recommend process improvements based on data findings.

10. Documentation

• Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, calculations, and reports.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are reproducible and understandable.
• Maintain proper records of analytical work and methodologies.

Preferred candidate profile

* Candidate must have knowledge of advanced Excel, MS Powerpoint & Power BI.

* Candidate must have presentation skill.

* Preferring candidate with immediate joining.

* Candidate must have 1 year of relevant experience.
