Job Role Responsibilities

Role: Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

Understand the data model and perform Analytical operation on data.

Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.

Perform Data mining and extract meaningful patterns in data.

Develop logic to extract KPI s data as per Business requirement and store in Lakehouse.

Regular monitoring and updating of Analytics KPI s.

Perform Exploratory data analysis and present the descriptive stats and insights to the domain experts. Find meaningful patterns in data, Develop Test hypothesis in collaboration with the domain experts.

Reporting Visualization: Present the overall solution and concept in the form of Dashboards and Storyboards.

Documentation and version management of all Sprint Artefacts

Technical Skills / Experience

Essential:

Strong Programming and Analytical skills.

Expertise in SQL and Python. Sound knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, Stats model and Matplotlib libraries

Hands-on experience in writing code for extracting Business KPI s from Raw data

Hands on experience of using Cataloging tools like Unity Catalog/ AWS Glue for preparation and transformation of data for analytics

Hands-on experience in working with Databricks SQL Warehouse or AWS RedShift

Basic knowledge of Data Modeling

Hands on experience of Dashboard Tools like Power BI/Tableau/ Cognos

Good Story Telling Skills.

Proficient in technical writing, design specification documentation for Analytical KPI s in Confluence

Good knowledge of Agile Project Management tools like JIRA and Code Version management tools like GitHub.

Desirable:

Good Knowledge of Agentic AI framework on AWS Bedrock or Mosaic AI

Sound understanding of Large Language Models like Claude, ChatGPT

Working experience with Data Lakehouse Platforms such as Databricks/Teradata

Experience in Connected Vehicle data analytics that may comprise of GPS data, on-board sensor data of the vehicle powertrain, body and chassis systems

Experience in Spark or other distributed computing frameworks.
