Position - Cyber Security Analyst (OKTA Engineer)
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
- 4-5 years of experience in general IT
- Experience with OKTA engineering including SSO, MFA, App onboarding
- SAML & OIDC concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, relevant work experience
- SSCP, Security+, Network+, A+ +C15, Okta Certified Professional, SailPoint Certified, IdentityIQ Associate.
- 4+ years of experience in IAM Security Engineer working on OIDC OAuth, SAML, OKTA, Sailpoint, AD or any Modern IDP & IGA.

The Cyber Security Analyst is a key member of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, supporting secure and efficient IAM practices to protect Bread Financial's information assets. This role will involve close collaboration with other Cyber Security disciplines, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure robust protection of the organization's information assets. The Analyst will support critical lifecycle processes such as assisting with onboarding, transfers and offboarding, validating access requests for compliance, and contributing to SOP development while promoting adherence to security policies and best practices. Success will require knowledge of Active Delivery Services, experience with ServiceNow, and the ability to apply ITIL principles to optimize processes and enhance service delivery.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead requirements analysis for major IT initiatives, ensuring IAM integrate seamlessly across enterprise systems to align with long-term security strategy. Partner with IT and business teams to resolve project, access, provisioning, automation, and certification needs. Oversee creation of audit and RCSA evidence to support ongoing compliance activities.
- Maintain and update run books, project materials, process documentation, and presentations. Collaborate with peers to review metrics, identify trends or inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions to leadership. Demonstrate ownership by driving issues to full and timely resolution.
- Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced team environment while continuously building and sharing technical knowledge. Mentor junior analysts and partner with peers and leaders to resolve risks and obstacles. Utilize learning knowledge and development to enhance processes, improving testing, identifying root causes, and presenting recommended solutions with clear, professional communication.
