Job Description

The SQUALIO team for a Cybersecurity consultant to join our team. The Cybersecurity consultant will be responsible for auditing, evaluating, designing, implementing, and monitoring security measures to protect our customers' environment and data from cyber-attacks, data breaches, and other security incidents. The successful candidate has to understand the latest cybersecurity technologies, must have practical proven experience effectively applying the best practices in real life and will work closely with other team members to ensure the protection of our customers' data, systems and IT infrastructure.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate in various security auditing and technical testing projects:
  • evaluate the design and effectiveness of IT general, applications and cybersecurity controls;
  • Lead and participate in virtual CISO services.
  • Lead and participate in cybersecurity projects - phishing simulations, vulnerability assessments, documentation preparation, end-user training,
  • Identify security and performance improvement opportunities;
  • Design new controls and procedures;
  • document and communicate findings to clients.
  • Create high-quality deliverables (reports) and participate in result presentation meetings.
  • Continuously improve internal methodologies, tools and internal processes.
  • use available tools to perform technical testing (Nessus, BurpSuite, ZAP, Nmap, etc.)
  • Continuously improve knowledge and skills.
  • Assist in service presales.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 3 years of previous experience in practical security testing/auditing tasks and technical background in infrastructure management, networks, and programming.
  • Certificates in security and/or cloud management e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, LPT, OSCP, Security+, will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of various security assessments and frameworks - ISO 27001, maturity models, OWASP.
  • Understanding and practical application of information security principles.
  • Excellent communication skills in Latvian and English, both: written and verbal.
  • Experience working with international clients and teams will count as an advantage.
