Cybersec - Senior Business Analyst

Description:

The Senior Business Analyst will work within the Cybersecurity Operations and Intelligence team to drive delivery of a Target Operating Model (TOM), support the strategic direction of Cyber Operations and analyses, estimate, design, document, test, implement new system development and to assist in delivery of system enhancements.

Experience / Technical Skill Set Required
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Business / Solution Analyst, gathering requirements and defining IT solutions within projects
• Experience producing Target Operating Models / Strategies
• Strong experience with writing Use Cases, User Stories and Acceptance Test scenarios OR Strong usability requirements analysis, process maps
• Experience with Agile (ideally Scrum or SAFe).
• Strong analytical, documentation and verbal communication skills in English.
• Takes complete ownership of delivery of front to back complex functional changes.
• Maintain strong relations with business stakeholders.
• Removes blockers and creates pathways during times of uncertainty to ensure resilience.
• Strong experience of MS Office (typically; Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and JIRA/Confluence (or similar).
• Experience in technology delivery in a complex organisation
• Experience in business requirements definition and testing
• Delivery of business process documentation
• Excellent planning and reporting skills

Soft Skill Required
• Ability to work in fast paced environment and ever-changing priorities and having extremely flexible to manage workload.
• Able to support aggressive delivery timelines without compromising on quality.
• Work with different stakeholders (HSBC Vendors, Project Manager, ITSO & ITSO Delegates, Support teams) & resolve all technical queries in timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal (English)
• Facilitate escalations to senior management
