Role & responsibilities
Translate business objectives into security architecture standards, reference architectures, and strategic roadmaps for clients across a variety of sectors.
Manage numerous engagements, primarily focused on helping organisations define and mature their cybersecurity strategy and architecture posture.
Lead security design reviews for new business and technology initiatives and assess control coverage against target-state requirements.
Mentor team members and align cross-domain stakeholders on target-state architecture and strategic security priorities.
Conduct security architecture maturity assessments against industry-leading frameworks (such as NIST CSF, SABSA, TOGAF, Zero Trust, etc.) to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business priorities and risk landscape, ensuring all engagements are delivered to the highest quality and professional standards
Preferred candidate profile
In-depth understanding of security architecture principles and domains (such as network security, cloud security, identity, data protection, and Zero Trust).
Strong knowledge of architecture and security frameworks (such as NIST CSF, SABSA, TOGAF, ISO/IEC 27001) is advantageous.
Experience with security architecture tooling and modelling approaches is beneficial.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and lead stakeholder alignment across technical and business functions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and diverse team environment.
