Cyber Security Trainer

Role & responsibilities

• Deliver training on Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, and related technologies.
• Conduct hands-on practical sessions using tools such as Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nessus.
• Prepare and update training content, lab exercises, assignments, and study materials.
• Guide students in real-time cyber security projects, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), and security assessments.
• Conduct theory, practical, and viva assessments to evaluate student performance.
• Mentor students on cybersecurity concepts, threat analysis, incident response, and security best practices.
• Conduct technical mock interviews and provide career guidance for cybersecurity roles.
• Ensure hands-on learning through real-world case studies, security labs, and simulations.
• Support students in certification preparation for CEH, CompTIA Security+, and other cybersecurity certifications.
• Participate in demo sessions, workshops, seminars, and academic activities while maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience as a Cyber Security Trainer, Ethical Hacking Trainer, Information Security Trainer, or Technical Trainer.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of Cyber Security, Ethical Hacking, Network Security, VAPT, Web Application Security, Kali Linux, Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, Metasploit, OWASP Top 10, Linux, and Cloud Security (AWS/Azure). Excellent training, presentation, communication, and student mentoring skills with hands-on experience in guiding practical cybersecurity projects and labs.

• Education: B.E./B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, or any Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.

• Preferred Certifications: CEH, CompTIA Security+, CHFI, OSCP, CISSP, or equivalent certifications will be an added advantage.
