We are looking for a skilled Cyber Security Trainer who can deliver secure, practical, and career-focused training for students, professionals, and corporate teams. This role is suited for someone who understands both offensive and defensive security and can teach responsibly through controlled labs.
As our Cyber Security Trainer, you will train learners in cybersecurity fundamentals, network attacks, ethical hacking concepts, Kali Linux, vulnerability assessment, incident handling, firewalls, IDS/IPS, application security, digital forensics, and real-world security workflows.
You will help learners build practical confidence while reinforcing legal, ethical, and professional conduct throughout every security demonstration and lab.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery: Deliver cybersecurity sessions covering network security, ethical hacking, Linux, incident response, security operations, digital forensics, and secure practices.
- Secure Lab Facilitation: Design and conduct controlled practical labs using tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, firewalls, SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS concepts, and vulnerability scanners.
- Defensive Security Mentoring: Guide learners on incident handling, threat detection, firewall rules, log analysis, hardening, risk assessment, and response workflows.
- Offensive Security Awareness: Teach ethical hacking concepts, common attack vectors, web and network vulnerabilities, and responsible disclosure practices within authorized environments.
- Curriculum Development: Update modules, practical assignments, and case studies based on current cybersecurity threats, tools, and certification expectations.
- Assessment and Feedback: Evaluate learner performance through lab tasks, quizzes, project work, reports, and practical demonstrations.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure every training activity follows safe, legal, ethical, and approved cybersecurity practice.
Requirements Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- 3-6 years of hands-on cybersecurity, network security, SOC, VAPT, ethical hacking, or security operations experience
- Strong knowledge of networking, Linux, firewalls, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment, web security, and incident response
- Hands-on exposure to tools such as Kali Linux, Metasploit, Wireshark, Burp Suite, SIEM tools, and vulnerability scanners
- Ability to teach malware concepts, social engineering awareness, SQL injection basics, password attacks, DoS/DDoS concepts, and secure defenses in controlled labs
- Strong focus on cybersecurity ethics, legal boundaries, learner safety, and responsible demonstrations
- Excellent presentation, lab facilitation, and learner mentoring skills
- B.Tech, MCA, BCA, M.Tech, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- Certifications such as CEH, Security+, CHFI, CySA+, CCNA Security, or equivalent are preferred
- Experience delivering ed-tech, college, corporate, SOC, or certification-oriented training
- Knowledge of cloud security, IoT security, digital forensics, threat intelligence, or application security development
- Experience building practical labs, CTF-style exercises, or security case studies
