Job Description: Software Engineer Cybersecurity

About the Role

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating product security requirements, performing threat and risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role involves collaboration with development teams, OEMs, and third-party vendors to maintain robust cybersecurity practices throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate product security requirements using appropriate methodologies and terminology.
• Perform Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA) for vehicle ECUs and products.
• Collaborate with development teams and OEMs to ensure cybersecurity within the defined scope.
• Evaluate product cybersecurity and implement practices aligned with UNECE R155 and ISO/SAE 21434 standards.
• Enhance safety-relevant aspects of the product development lifecycle.
• Engage with clients and present cybersecurity strategies to external audiences.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to conduct Threat Analysis and Penetration Testing (Pentest), maintain scope, record reports, and define mitigation plans.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across teams.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, or related Engineering field.
• Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity standards (UNECE R155, ISO/SAE 21434).
• Experience in TARA assessments and penetration testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, OEMs, and external vendors.
