Cyber Security Mentor

GeeksforGeeks is looking for a passionate and experienced Cyber Security Mentor to train and mentor engineering students at a premier campus in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and practical sessions on Cyber Security fundamentals.
• Teach Networking Basics, Linux, Ethical Hacking concepts, Web Security, Cryptography, and Security Best Practices.
• Introduce students to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) concepts and tools.
• Guide students in hands-on labs, assignments, and projects.
• Conduct doubt-solving sessions and mentor students throughout the program.
• Encourage students to follow secure coding and cybersecurity practices.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Information Security, or Teaching.
• Strong understanding of Networking, Linux, Web Security, and Security Fundamentals.
• Familiarity with tools such as Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nmap, and Kali Linux is preferred.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and common security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Passion for teaching and guiding students.
• Willingness to relocate to Bhilai for the contract duration.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Alternate Saturdays (First Half)
• 20-24 teaching hours per week
