Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Engineer with strong expertise in DevSecOps and Security Engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating security controls and automation into CI/CD pipelines, implementing application security practices, managing software supply chain security, and driving secure software development initiatives across the organization.

The candidate should have hands-on experience with security tools, CI/CD platforms, scripting, and security automation to ensure security is embedded throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement automated security testing and security gates in deployment workflows.
• Perform application security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• Manage software supply chain security and dependency risk management.
• Drive secure coding practices across development teams.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for security operations.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to remediate security issues.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve security posture across systems and applications.

Required Skills CI/CD Security

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Jenkins
• GitHub Actions
• GitLab CI

Experience in implementing:

• Security gates
• Automated security testing
• Secure deployment pipelines

Application Security

Hands-on experience with:

• SAST (Static Application Security Testing)
• DAST (Dynamic Application Security Testing)
• Secret Scanning
• Vulnerability Assessment & Remediation

Scripting & Automation

Strong experience in:

• Python
• PowerShell

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of experience in Cyber Security, Security Engineering, or DevSecOps.
• Proven experience in securing CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC and DevSecOps best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
