Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Primary operational liaison between managed SOC, cyber security partners, and internal IT teams
• Monitor, track, and escalate security alerts and incidents to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate vulnerability scanning schedules and track remediation across all regions
• Support the CIO in executing security projects (EDR rollout, MFA deployment, policy updates)
• Track SLA compliance of managed security service providers
• Maintain security policies, SOPs, audit evidence, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate security awareness training and phishing simulation programmes

Produce weekly/monthly security operational reports and dashboards

5 years IT experience (2-3 years in cyber security operations). Project experience in at least 3 of:

• XDR/SIEM alert monitoring & triage | Penetration testing coordination
• Endpoint security (EDR/XDR) deployment | MFA/IAM rollout coordination penetration system
• Patch management coordination | Security awareness programme execution
• Incident response support & documentation | Compliance audit coordination
• Firewall rule reviews & change management | Security tool administration
• Experience in manufacturing/multinational environments and working with MSSPs preferred
