Cyber Security Engineer

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designs, Implements, and Operates cybersecurity solutions for Bayer s systems and products in compliance with Bayer s applicable security policies and standards.
Identity Lifecycle
Access Governance
Authentication
Cloud Identity Management
Customer IAM
Privileged Access Management

Works with IT and internal and external business partners to ensure that security is factored in the evaluation, selection, installation, and configuration process of hardware and software.
Maintains operational efficiency, performance, and reliability of security systems; integrating into IT service management and incident response processes.
Analyzes and makes recommendations to improve network, system, and application architectures.
Assists in the review and update of cybersecurity policies, architectures, and standards.
Designs and implements secure infrastructure solutions, including network security, configuration management, storage security, and identity and access management (IAM) based on security policies to prevent unauthorized access.
Conducts regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
Align with Cyber Security Architects on ensuring security architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices are implemented into technology
Operate Bayer s IAM solutions Microsoft Entra ID and SailPoint IdentityNow. Continuously improves Identity Access Management solutions and processes in the areas of identity lifecycle, modern authentication methods and state of the art permission models combined with strong adaptive administrator security (PAM).

WHO YOU ARE:

BS in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field, though relevant working experience may be considered an equivalent.
Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Java or NodeJS for the purpose of automation
Experience working with Azure or other hyperscalers as well as Infrastructure-as-Code is of advantage
Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. GxP) is of advantage
Experience with server infrastructure and operation like Linux/Windows VMs
Experience working with agile methodology such as SCRUM and/or tools such as Azure DevOps
Understands organizational mission, values, and goals and consistently applies this knowledge.
