Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Cybersecurity Architect / Lead with 8 to 12 years of deep technical expertise to head our automotive cybersecurity initiatives. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our vehicle security strategy, driving the design, architecture, and implementation of robust security systems for next-generation connected vehicles. You will lead threat modeling, establish secure communication protocols, and ensure absolute compliance with global automotive security standards while mentoring a high-performing engineering team.

Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and consult on complex, end-to-end automotive cybersecurity projects for Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs.
- Conduct comprehensive TARA (Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment), Attack Tree Analysis, and Vulnerability Analysis to identify potential threat vectors in vehicle ECUs and connected ecosystems.
- Formulate risk mitigation strategies aligned with product safety and reliability goals.
- Own the definition, development, and delivery of cybersecurity architectures and ISO/SAE 21434 work products (e.g., Security Concept, Security Requirements, and Cybersecurity Case).
- Ensure alignment between cybersecurity implementation and automotive functional safety standards (ISO 26262).
- Architect and configure AUTOSAR Crypto Stack components and manage seamless Hardware Security Module (HSM) integration (e.g., She, Evita Full/Medium profiles).
- Design and implement secure onboard communication protocols, including SecOC (Secure Onboard Communication), CMAC, and HMAC.
- Establish and maintain robust Secure Bootloader, Root of Trust (RoT), and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) management processes for secure flashing and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- Provide technical guidance and support for Penetration Testing and Fuzz Testing across automotive-specific domains.
- Oversee security verification for in-vehicle networks and wireless interfaces, including CAN, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GSM, and Bluetooth.
- Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) in client interactions and cross-functional engineering alignments.
- Mentor, coach, and technically guide a team of cybersecurity engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- Deep mastery of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, and OWASP. Familiarity with ISO 26262 is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, hashing algorithms, key management, and lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures (e.g., Infineon Aurix, STMicroelectronics, NXP) and embedded C programming.
- Proficiency with Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer), cryptographic configuration tools, and enterprise-level TARA tools (e.g., Medini Analyze).
- Proven track record of managing stakeholders, client-facing consulting, or leading engineering squads.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and architectural documentation skills.
- B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, Certified Automotive Cybersecurity Professional) are highly desirable.
