Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking - Trainer

Role & responsibilities :

• Develop and update course materials, presentations, lab manuals, assignments, and assessments.
• Teach networking fundamentals, Linux, Windows administration, and cybersecurity principles.
• Conduct practical training on Ethical Hacking methodologies and penetration testing techniques.
• Train students in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT).
• Demonstrate the use of industry-standard security tools such as Kali Linux, Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nessus, Hydra, John the Ripper, and OWASP ZAP.
• Teach Web Application Security, Network Security, Wireless Security, Cloud Security, Endpoint Security, and Mobile Security.
• Explain common cyber threats, malware, phishing attacks, ransomware, social engineering, and mitigation techniques.
• Train students on vulnerability scanning, exploitation techniques, privilege escalation, and post-exploitation concepts in authorized lab environments.
• Evaluate students through practical exams, assignments, quizzes, and capstone projects.
• Provide mentorship for interview preparation, resume building, and career development.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Networking, and Network Protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, and VAPT methodologies.
• Experience with Kali Linux and cybersecurity tools.
• Understanding of Web Application Security, API Security, and OWASP Top 10.
• Knowledge of SIEM, SOC operations, Incident Response, and Digital Forensics.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
