Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluates messages from business partners to determine proper disposition of complaints and regulatory requests
Reviews, analyzes, and interprets complaint(s) and regulatory requests and determines best course of action for a workable solution
Researches required steps to resolve issues
Communicates timely resolution isions to business partners according to procedures and regulatory guidelines
Advocates the interest of both the customer and Nationwide to ensure an equitable solution on behalf of the customer

Corresponds by telephone and email with internal business partners in connection with customer relations matters
Resolves issues with business units and initiates leadership feedback on resolution options
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies and/or technical insurance course work preferred
License / Certification / Designation: Licensing be required as is continuing education, as required by state(s)
CPCU, MCM, AIC and similar industry designations preferred
CPCU, MCM, AIC and similar industry designations preferred
Experience: Typically, one to two years of related work experience
Customer service and/or claims experience preferred

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
Knowledge of policies, practices, and procedures in areas such as claims, personal lines, processing, direct channel sales/NSS, policyholder services and premium and/or rating, and customer services methodologies
Prefer familiarity with insurance laws and regulations
Strong verbal and written skills to communicate technical insurance and/or financial information to customers, employees, all levels of management and Department of Insurance associates
Ability to analyze complaint situations, regulatory requests, and/or service problems and evaluate issues with recommended solutions
Ability to operate personal computer and related business and product-specific software
Ability to analyze regulations,
