Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Key responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs and enhancements in SAP systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and troubleshoot issues in existing ABAP programs.
Utilize principles of Test-Driven Development and Unit Testing.
Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
Integrate third-party tools and applications with SAP systems.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Support system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning initiatives.
Mentor and guide junior developers as needed.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
Proficiency in core ABAP programming, including RICEF, (User Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework).
Experience with Object-Oriented ABAP, SAP Fiori/UI5 development, and OData services.
Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, such as ALE/IDocs, RFC, BAPIs, and Web Services.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and its technical architecture is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of SAP Gateway architecture and OData services.
Knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS) in modern SAP applications.

Preferred qualifications:
SAP certification in ABAP or related areas.
Experience with agile development methodologies.
Exposure to SAP Aerospace and Defense Solution
Technical expertise in SAP modules such as MM, FI, CO, PS and others as required.
