Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing ECE and other UDM data assets using Databricks (DBX).Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to Write and test code using SQL, Python, and PySpark in Databricks.Implement business rules provided by SMEs. Support ETL changes to production in DatabricksDebug and optimize SQL queries and data workflows Collaborate with DevOps and business analysts to translate requirements into technical specsEnsure production stability and troubleshoot issues in Social Health environmentsWork with data sources like Clarify, MMM, IDR to validate data integrityParticipate in production support activities including monitoring and troubleshootingMust-Have
Qualifications5+ years of SQL development experience, with strong skills in query optimization and data issue resolution5+ Years of Experience in Python5+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks, including:Delta Lake architectureNotebooks and automationJob orchestration and deploymentDeep understanding of ETL pipeline design, deployment best practices, rollback strategies, and version control+I36Strong understanding of ETL pipeline design and production deployment workflows, including rollback strategies and version controlDemonstrated ability to identify root causes of data failures and implement solutions independentlyExperience working with healthcare data systems, especially Clarity and other clinical data sourcesProficiency in debugging and performance tuning in distributed computing environmentsAbility to write clear, concise technical documentation for DevOps and business stakeholdersFamiliarity with production support protocols, including incident triage, escalation, and resolutionNICE TO HAVEExperience with Power BI or other visualization toolsExperience with Unix environmentsExposure to R Shiny or TableauSOFT SKILLSExcellent communication and collaboration skillsStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesStrong ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
