Summary:
As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, performing maintenance and enhancements, and contributing to the overall development process. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code while adhering to best practices and project timelines, ensuring that the applications meet client requirements and expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of scalable full-stack applications using Node.js and React.
Architect modular frontends using Micro Frontend Architecture within the Checkpoint super app.
Build RESTful APIs and integrate with AWS cloud services.
Guide and mentor developers on coding best practices and system design.
Collaborate with product and architecture teams for technical design, estimation, and roadmap alignment.
Drive CI/CD adoption, code quality, and performance optimization.
Explore AI-native integrations using AWS Bedrock and MCP Tools.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience demonstrating proficiency in the specified
Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture (Node.js)
AI-native tools: AWS Bedrock, GitHub Copilot, Claude code, Prompt Engineering, MCP Tools
Proven experience with Micro Frontend Architecture.
Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and REST APIs.
Hands-on with AWS SDK and cloud-native development.
Good understanding of frontend performance optimization.
Exposure to mobile development (Android Java/Kotlin) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and containerized deployments (Docker).
Exposure to AI- assisted development using GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Amazon Bedrock, and prompt engineering

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 9 years of experience in Node.js.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
