Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while maintaining high standards of quality and performance. The engineer actively manages the lifecycle of the software, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing support, ensuring seamless integration and functionality within the broader system environment.

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for application development.

Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.

Mentor junior team members and provide guidance to support their professional growth.

Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.


Professional & Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Services.

Good To Have Skills: Data Governance.

Experience with cloud-based data storage, processing, and analytics solutions.

Strong understanding of application architecture and deployment in cloud environments.

Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows and pipelines within Microsoft Azure.

Familiarity with security and compliance considerations related to cloud data services.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
