Design high-quality literacy instructional materials, including phonics lesson plans, comprehension worksheets, formative assessments, and practice resources.
Adapt and contextualize existing materials to meet the needs of classrooms.
Iterate on instructional materials based on classroom observations, teacher feedback, and student learning data.
Support the training and implementation of curriculum materials, including facilitating sessions and modeling instructional practices.
Facilitate training sessions across in-person residencies, virtual electives, and learning touchpoints.
Lead instructional support for allocated Circle U partner sites, including classroom observations, lesson modeling, workshop facilitation, and coaching with clear, actionable feedback.

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in curriculum design and development, preferably in literacy education.
Strong knowledge of curriculum design principles, instructional materials, and educational technology.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, students, and other stakeholders.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a flexible and proactive approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to iterate on designs based on feedback.
Experience working with diverse populations, including those with special needs or from varying socio-economic backgrounds.
