CTO / Tech Team Lead - AI Learning Labs

• NavGurukul is looking for a CTO / Tech Team Lead to anchor the engineering and AI vision of our AI Learning Labs
• This is a hands-on leadership role where you will set the technical north star, architect the AI/ML and full-stack systems that power our learning platforms, and build a mission-driven engineering culture from the ground up
• You will own the technology roadmap end to end from compact, client-side LLMs that work on low-end devices to the platforms that bring those models to millions of learners
• You will lead a team of AI/ML engineers and full-stack developers, partner closely with product, design and pedagogy teams, and align technical decisions with our mission to impact 1 crore underserved learners
• Key responsibilities include driving AI strategy and innovation (LLMs, RAG, MoE, generative AI), architecting scalable engineering infrastructure across backend, frontend, data, ML and cloud, hiring and mentoring a mission-driven tech team, and building responsible AI applications for underserved learners
• We are looking for someone with 8+ years of AI/ML or full-stack experience, expert-level Python skills, strong command of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, RAG, vector search), and proven experience leading engineering teams
