Job Description
- Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practicesAttention to detail and hygiene disciplineGood communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced OT environment Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, clean, disinfect, and sterilize ophthalmic instruments and equipment
- Operate and monitor sterilization machines (Autoclave, ETO, Plasma Sterilizer etc)Pack, label, and store sterile instruments according to set protocols
- Maintain instrument traceability, log records, and cycle documentation
- Ensure proper functioning, maintenance, and calibration of CSSD equipment
- Follow infection control protocols, biomedical waste management, and safety standards
- Coordinate with OT staff to ensure timely supply of sterile sets
- Assist in stock management of CSSD consumables
- Adhere to NABH / JCI standards and hospital policies
