The CSR function at Altius implements multi-state initiatives across: Education Rural, Transformation, Healthcare Inclusion
Projects are currently active in Uttar Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and the Northeast region.
Role & responsibilities
Role Summary
The CSR (Consultant) is a long-term role designed to take forward responsibilities with ownership,
accountability, and program oversight. The incumbent will support end-to-end CSR program
management including monitoring, compliance tracking, financial review, governance
documentation, and partner coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Program Monitoring
- Maintain project trackers (financials, deliverables, timelines, KPIs)
- Travel to partner sites ensuring robust field governance and insights.
- Review partner reports and ensure alignment with approved proposals
- Prepare monthly and quarterly update decks
Compliance & Financial Review
- Review Utilisation Certificates (UCs), invoices, and financial statements
- Maintain CSR compliance dashboards
- Draft governance notes and approval documentation
- Support audit readiness and documentation control
Governance & Reporting
- Draft Minutes of Meetings (MoMs)
- Track action items and follow-ups
- Support CSR Committee and Board reporting
Partner & Field Coordination
- Coordinate with implementing partners across states
- Planning, conducting and documenting of field visits
- Prepare structured monitoring reports
Internal Engagement
- Support Employee Volunteering initiatives
- Maintain participation and impact tracking data
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Business Administration, or related field
Experience: Minimum 5 years in CSR / development / social impact roles.
Candidate should be able to join within 1 month
Note the position is on 1 year contract and subject to extension as per requirement and performance
