CSC Grameen e-Store is an initiative under the Common Services Centers (CSC) scheme in India, aimed at promoting rural entrepreneurship and providing access to a wide range of products and services in rural areas. It's essentially a digital commerce platform that connects rural entrepreneurs with suppliers and customers, facilitating online transactions and delivery. These e-Stores are managed by Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) who leverage the CSC network to offer various goods and services, including groceries, electronics, clothing, and agricultural products, to the rural population. The initiative aims to bridge the urban-rural divide in terms of access to goods and services, empower rural entrepreneurs, and boost the rural economy.

About Us

CSC Grameen e-Store, an initiative of CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (a Special Purpose Vehicle established by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India), aims to establish a robust digital commerce ecosystem in rural India by leveraging the existing CSC network. This program provides crucial market access to rural producers, promoting local products and empowering Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) to become proficient digital entrepreneurs. These e-Stores are designed as essential hubs for digital transactions and information dissemination, specifically catering to the diverse needs of the rural population. A key focus of the program is comprehensive training and capacity building for VLEs, ensuring they possess the necessary skills for effective management and successful operation of the e-Stores, thereby fostering sustainable digital inclusion and economic growth at the grassroots level. This initiative directly supports the government's vision of a digitally empowered rural India.
