Responsibilities:
  • Provide continuous monitoring and assessment of critically ill patients in the ICU.
  • Administer and manage life-support systems, including mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, and hemodynamic support.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and participate in code blue and rapid response team activations.
  • Perform and interpret critical care diagnostics, including arterial blood gases, ECGs, and imaging studies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and treatment progress.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the critical care unit.
  • Communicate effectively with patients families, providing updates and emotional support during critical situations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent qualification in Critical Care (e.g., B.Sc. in Critical Care Technology).
  • Valid registration with the State Nursing Council or relevant regulatory body.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of critical care principles, including respiratory therapy, cardiac monitoring, and emergency care.
  • Proficiency in using ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
  • Must be eligible for immediate joining (fresher candidates with internship completion are encouraged to apply).
