Credit Underwriter

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness of borrowers.
• Conduct thorough research on applicants' financial history, income, assets, and credit scores to inform lending decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes within the underwriting department.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in personal loan underwriting.

Job Requirements :

• 1-3 years of experience in personal loan underwriting or a related field.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis principles, including credit scoring models (e.g., FICO).
• Proficiency in reviewing complex financial documents such as tax returns, bank statements, etc.
