Job Description

Key Responsibility Areas:


Portfolio Monitoring & Analytics

  •  Monitor portfolio health across products (CV, PV, 2W, used vehicles, etc.)
  •  Track key metrics such as delinquency (DPD buckets), roll rates, bounce rates, and credit costs 
  •  Conduct segmentation analysis (geography, customer profile, dealer, product type) to identify stress trends 

 Early Warning Systems (EWS) 

  • Develop and refine early warning signals to detect potential defaults 
  •  Track behavioral triggers such as payment patterns, utilization trends, and bureau alerts 
  •  Recommend proactive actions to mitigate risk

 Risk Strategy & Policy Feedback

  •  Provide inputs to credit policy and underwriting teams based on portfolio insights 
  •  Suggest changes in credit filters, bureau cut-offs, LTV norms, and pricing strategies 
  • Work closely with originations and collections teams to improve portfolio performance

 Collections & Recovery Analytics 

  • Partner with collections teams to monitor recovery efficiency and optimize strategies 
  • Analyze bucket-wise performance and recommend interventions for high-risk segments
  •  Evaluate effectiveness of repossession and recovery channels 

 Cross-functional Collaboration 

  •  Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Collections, Finance, and Business teams 
  • Act as a key bridge between data analytics and business decision-making  
Qualifications Experience: 

  • 6 - 10 years in decisioning/credit risk roles, preferably in NBFCs, banks, or fintech.
  •  Bachelor’s/ Master's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business, or related field 
  •  MBA / PGDM (Finance/Operations) preferred
 Desired Competencies 

  • Strong understanding of retail/vehicle finance lending lifecycle 
  •  Hands-on experience in credit risk analytics and portfolio monitoring
  •  Knowledge of credit bureau data and risk metrics (DPD, roll rates, vintage analysis) 
  •  Ability to translate data into actionable business insights 
  •  Effective communication and stakeholder management
