About the Role

We are looking for an experienced C++/Qt/QML Software Engineer to join our Medical Devices engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing high-performance desktop applications on Linux using modern C++, Qt, and QML. Experience in medical device software development and compliance with quality standards is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ (C++11/14/17), Qt, and QML.
  • Develop robust GUI applications for medical device platforms.
  • Work on Linux-based embedded and desktop environments.
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and reusable software architecture.
  • Integrate software with hardware components and medical instruments.
  • Develop multi-threaded and event-driven applications.
  • Perform debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.
  • Write unit tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, hardware, QA, and regulatory teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation and support verification and validation activities.

Required Skills

  • 5–10 years of hands-on experience in C++ software development.
  • Strong knowledge of Qt Framework (Qt Widgets, Qt Quick, Qt Creator).
  • Hands-on experience with QML for modern UI development.
  • Strong experience with Linux application development.
  • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and Data Structures.
  • Experience with Multithreading, IPC, and Socket Programming.
  • Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
  • Strong debugging skills using GDB, Valgrind, and Linux tools.
  • Experience in software lifecycle management and Agile development.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the Medical Devices domain.
  • Knowledge of IEC 62304, ISO 13485, or FDA software development guidelines.
  • Experience with Embedded Linux.
  • Familiarity with CMake, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as USB, Serial, TCP/IP, or CAN.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline.
