Description: We are looking for a skilled CPU Verification Engineer with hands-on experience in verifying complex processor architectures. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing verification strategies for CPU designs across X86 and/or ARM architectures.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans and test strategies for CPU/SoC designs
- Build and maintain scalable verification environments using SystemVerilog (SV) and UVM (Universal Verification Methodology)
- Design and implement testbenches (TB) for functional verification
- Work on verification of processor subsystems, including pipelines, caches, memory interfaces, and interconnects
- Develop directed and constrained-random test cases
- Debug and analyze failures, identify root causes, and drive resolution
- Collaborate with design, architecture, and firmware teams to ensure coverage closure
- Define and track functional and code coverage metrics
- Strong experience in CPU verification (3 6 years)
- Solid understanding of X86 and/or ARM architectures
- Proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience in developing testbenches (TB) and test plans
- Knowledge of verification concepts such as constrained random verification, assertions, and coverage-driven verification
- Debugging skills with simulation tools (e.g., VCS, Questa, Xcelium)
