Job Description
Role & responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include
- Lead the cross functional projects and interaction with internal and external Stakeholders.
- Generate and implement product design changes aimed at improving performance, increasing quality and/ or optimizing cost.
- Drive projects using product development process as the need through cross-functional team(s)
- Ensure comprehensive scoping of projects/ ideas, planning to enable execution of agreed plans and achieve cost targets.
- Hands-on experience in VMA/ Costing work.
- Create product/ subsystem specific test plans as per requirement to get the design changes approved.
- Generate ideas using various VA/VE tools like teardowns to continuously built LOS for future projects.
Analyse SIR and BOM data to calculate the feasibility of ideas/projects
Application of Technical tools:
Six Sigma tools and its applications
8D, A3, DFMEA, DVP&R
Basic Knowledge on CAD tools (Creo 2.0 or 4.0), PLM Software- Windchill - Design for Variation (GD&T and Tolerance stack up analysis)
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate should mandatorily 60-70% of Costing/Cost Reduction Experience and 30-40% of Quality Optimization Exp.
