Corporate Strategy - Manager

Role Purpose

To support senior leadership in strategic decision-making through financial analysis, investment research, market intelligence, and business performance evaluation. The role involves preparing financial models, conducting equity and credit research, analyzing business opportunities, and delivering strategic insights to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Strategy & Leadership Support

• Support leadership team in strategic planning, business expansion, and growth initiatives.
• Prepare strategy presentations, management reports, investor decks, and business review documents.
• Conduct industry benchmarking, competitor analysis, and market opportunity assessment.
• Assist leadership in evaluating mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
• Drive strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals and long-term business plans.

Financial Analysis & Business Finance

• Perform detailed financial analysis including profitability, cost structure, revenue trends, and business performance.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow, balance sheet, and P&L performance.
• Conduct ratio analysis and variance analysis to identify financial risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Provide recommendations for operational and financial efficiency improvements.

Credit & Investment Research

• Conduct credit research and evaluate financial health of companies and business partners.
• Perform equity research, investment research, and valuation analysis across sectors.
• Analyze company fundamentals, financial risks, and market trends.
• Develop financial models for investment evaluation, business forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Prepare investment notes, research reports, and business case studies for management review.

Financial Modelling & Valuation

• Build and maintain detailed financial models including:
• Revenue forecasting
• DCF valuation
• Scenario analysis
• Sensitivity analysis
• Business projections
• Support valuation exercises for strategic investments and business decisions.
• Evaluate ROI, IRR, payback period, and capital allocation opportunities.

Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with leadership, finance, business teams, and external stakeholders for strategic projects.
• Present analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Support cross-functional teams in strategic execution and business transformation initiatives.
