Position Overview: The Damooga Foundation is seeking a skilled and passionate Content Writer to join our team. As a Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in crafting impactful content to raise awareness about our organizations mission, programs, and initiatives. Your writing will help drive engagement, increase support, and ultimately contribute to our goal of transforming the lives of the underprivileged.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging, and informative content for various proposals, including website pages, blog posts, social media platforms, newsletters, and fundraising campaigns.
2. Storytelling: Develop inspiring and impactful stories that showcase the impact of The Healer Foundations programs and initiatives, highlighting the experiences of beneficiaries, volunteers, and partners.
3. Editing and Proofreading: Review and revise content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
4. Collaborative Writing: Collaborate with the fundraising and media team to brainstorm ideas, plan content calendars, and contribute to the overall content strategy.
5. Fundraising Support: Assist in creating convincing content for fundraising campaigns, grant applications, and donor reports to inspire financial support and maintain donor engagement.
Qualification:
Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in a relevant field.
Writing Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional content writing experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector or a related field.
Social Media Handling experience will be an added advantage.
Passion for Social Impact: Genuine interest in the nonprofit sector and a deep commitment to making a difference in the lives of underprivileged communities.
Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
