Consultant/Software Engineer - Node.js/Vue.js (5-8 yrs)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Consultant Software Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js, Vue.js, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and maintain scalable cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have experience developing modern web applications, designing RESTful APIs, and working with microservices-based architectures on cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.

- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Implement secure and efficient server-side logic.

- Optimize application performance and scalability.

Frontend Development:

- Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Vue.js.

- Create reusable UI components and front-end modules.

- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

Cloud & DevOps:

- Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Work with GCP services for application hosting, storage, monitoring, and scalability.

- Support CI/CD implementation and deployment automation.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments.

Collaboration & Quality:

- Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and code reviews.

- Follow coding standards, security practices, and development best practices.

- Work closely with product managers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and production incidents.

Required Skills:

- Strong experience in:

1. Node.js

2. JavaScript / TypeScript

3. Vue.js

4. Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.

- Strong understanding of web application architecture.

- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.

- Understanding of cloud-native application development.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.

- Exposure to cloud security and monitoring tools.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Understanding of serverless and event-driven architectures.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
