Consultant/Software Engineer - .Net/SSIS (8-12 yrs)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Software Engineer (.NET + SSIS) with strong expertise in .NET development, SQL Server, SSIS, and Azure migration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications, ETL solutions, and cloud migration initiatives while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core.

- Develop robust .NET Core applications and backend services.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.

- Implement and manage data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

2. Database Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server database objects including Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers.

- Optimize SQL queries and database performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.

3. SSIS & ETL Development :

- Develop, enhance, and support SSIS packages for ETL and data integration.

- Design and maintain scalable ETL workflows.

- Perform SSIS performance tuning and troubleshooting.

4. Azure Migration & Modernization :

- Perform Lift & Shift migrations of SQL Server databases from on-premises environments to Azure SQL Managed Instance.

- Migrate SSIS workloads to Azure using Azure Data Factory and SQL Managed Instance.

- Analyze .NET, SQL, and SSIS workloads for Azure readiness and compatibility.

- Resolve migration-related issues involving performance, connectivity, and data consistency.

- Support cloud modernization and migration initiatives.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience in : C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, .NET Core, SQL Server, and SSIS.

- Experience in ETL development and data integration.

- Expertise in REST API development.

- Strong understanding of JSON and XML.

- Experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance and Azure migration projects.

- Knowledge of SQL and SSIS performance tuning.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

- Azure Data Factory (ADF).

- Cloud migration and modernization projects.

- CI/CD and DevOps practices.

- Azure Integration Services.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
