Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in infants, children, and adolescents.
- Conduct OPD consultations, IPD rounds, and emergency pediatric care.
- Manage neonatal cases, including newborn assessments and stabilization when required.
- Monitor child growth, development, nutrition, and vaccination schedules.
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding child health, nutrition, breastfeeding, immunization, and preventive healthcare.
- Attend pediatric emergencies and provide timely medical intervention.
- Coordinate with Gynecology, NICU, ICU, Radiology, Laboratory, and other departments for comprehensive patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure timely documentation.
- Follow NABH protocols, infection control practices, and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical meetings, CMEs, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental audits.
- Be available for on-call duties as per the hospital roster.
Qualification
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Pediatrics from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Medical Council/National Medical Commission (NMC) registration.
