Consultant - Orthopedic Surgeon

*Examine patients, interpret diagnostic tests (like X-rays and MRIs), and develop treatment plans for conditions ranging from fractures and arthritis to sports injuries. *Perform various surgeries, including bone grafting, joint replacements (knee, hip), and repairs of torn ligaments or tendons. *Prescribe medications, recommend physical therapy, and apply non-invasive treatments like casting or splinting. *Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and create rehabilitation programs to improve function and mobility. *Advise patients on strategies to prevent musculoskeletal injuries and diseases. *Directing and coordinating activities of hospital staff for proper patient care. Oversee all treatment prior to and post-surgery, and identify associated risks. *Plan and execute disease/illness prevention and health promotion programs. *Coordinate follow-up meetings with patients and monitor health conditions after surgery or treatment. *Conduct research to develop and test surgical techniques in order to improve procedures and surgery. *Consultant should specify the date and time when the patient has to return for follow-up. *The consultant should be responsible and accountable for all the patients admitted under his care.
