Consultant Gynaecologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine examinations including pelvic exams, Pap smears, breast exams, and STI tests.
  
• Diagnose and treat disorders such as endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, and reproductive cancers.
  
• Advise patients on birth control methods and family planning.
  
• Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy, labor, and postnatal periods (if also practicing obstetrics).
  
• Conduct or assist in surgeries such as hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and C-sections.
  
• Provide menopausal management and hormone replacement therapy.
  
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on treatment progress.
  
• Educate patients about reproductive health, wellness, and disease prevention.
